Gaura ‘Sparkle White’ is a selection of native gaura known for its more compact size and earlier bloom time. Growing only 1 to 2 feet tall, Sparkle White is a much smaller plant than the native gaura. Sparkle white also blooms significantly earlier than other gaura varieties. Like other gauras, Sparkle White requires good drainage and full sun. Due to its compact size, Sparkle White makes and excellent addition to fronts of borders or along walkways. Plant in front of native grasses and larger wildflowers.

The plugs were a bit smaller than I expected with very little growth. I planted them right away and have watered but the greenery has died back. Maybe the roots are growing and I’ll have a nice surprise in the Spring. I will rewrite my review then if that happens.
