Coral Honeysuckle, or Lonicera sempervirens, is a vigorous vine native to the Southeastern United States. Coral Honeysuckle grows best in full sun with rich soils and average moisture. The vine can tolerate some shade but will bloom best in full sun. Light red flowers appear in spring and are followed by red berries. Although deciduous in colder climates, Coral Honeysuckle is semi-evergreen in the southern part of its range. Flowers are showy and attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
