Description
Baby Joe Pye Weed is a cultivar of Eupatorium dubium with a more compact habit, usually growing 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide. Joe Pye Weed grows best in moist soils in full sun locations. It can tolerate some shade but is not tolerant of drought. Pale pink flowers bloom from July to September and are an excellent nectar source for pollinators, such as butterflies and bees. Baby Joe Pye Weed makes an excellent addition to rain gardens, borders, and pollinator gardens. Plant alongside cardinal flower Cardinal Flower and black-eyed susans.
