Description
Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii, ‘Goldstrum’, is an award-winning Black Eyed Susan cultivar easily grown in average, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Easy to maintain, established plants have drought tolerance and can thrive even in clay soils. An upright, rhizomatous, clump-forming, free-blooming coneflower which grows up to 3′ tall, forms colonies in the wild. This cultivar is noted for its prolific bloom production over a long mid-summer to fall bloom period, which also makes it an excellent cut flower.
