Description
Solidago rugosa, “Fireworks” Goldenrod, is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. This plant, like other goldenrods, will spread by rhizomes. Fireworks Goldenrod bears bright yellow flowers, on lacy plume-like panicles in a display that is said to resemble fireworks, hence the cultivar name. Fall blooming period and grows to a height of 3-4′. Fireworks Goldenrod is great in a perennial border or descending over a wall. Pollinators are highly attracted to all goldenrods.
