Indian Pink, or Spigelia Marilandica, is a perennial wildflower native to the Southeastern United States. Indian Pink typically grows along streams or in moist wooded areas. Long, tubular, red flowers bloom in late spring and attracts hummingbirds. Indian Pink grows 1 to 2 feet tall and prefers moist soils in part shade to full shade. Plant alongside ferns and jacob’s ladder for a spectacular shade garden.
